The project named “LAS PERLAS” has a density of 525 units, with an occupancy of 2,640 people and a daily expenditure of 968 cubic metres of wastewater to be treated. The treatment plant uses an anaerobic trickling filter treatment system.
It foresees an initial pre-treatment section with a grease trap and an Imhoff tank. The plant is modular and is presented with four double modules in parallel.
No electric motors are needed, as it benefits from the slope to allow wastewater to enter the plant and always be discharged by gravity.
Each module at the input has a register. In this way, each module can work independently and, if necessary, be separated from the others for maintenance.
At the outlet of the plant, a contact tank is installed to aid in the disinfection of water before its final discharge.
